We were going into a Carl's Jr hamburger place one evening when Carla ran up to us begging. We decided to ignore her, but see what happened when we came out. Sure enough, 30 minutes later when we egressed from the restaurant, there was Carla wanting some attention. This was at a busy intersection and there were no homes close by;we decided that she was probably abandoned, so we took her home. Carla died on June 12, 2007.
