Kill Short Sentences?

Rosa is having many problems with the short sentences in the Tinkertoy text. She does not understand their function, tries to do too much, and kills it. Moreover, the single-line display is asking for trouble. I am now considering eliminating this POV and instead creating an internal POV for use in the Historybook only.

This would relieve the storybuilder of the responsibility of writing the short sentence POV. It would also free up 42 pixels of vertical screen space, allowing seven pixels more for each of the remaining POVs. It would eliminate all those problems with the input of short sentences.

The downside is that the short sentence POV would be under program control, and would be harder to read. The real problem would be with secondary objects. However, I could deal with these by detecting their presence or absence, and writing only those secondary objects that have a non-zero value.

I will do it.
