Creating options

Having created the dramatic dilemma, you must now present the player-protagonist with some options for responding to the dilemma. Those options should require the player-protagonist to apply different personality traits in different ways. You enter the text for the first option in the blue rectangle at the top of the rightmost column.

You don’t have to provide three options; for some encounters, particularly at the outset of the storyworld, when the player-protagonist has not yet been acquainted with the storyworld, you could present only one option, usually something along the lines of “OK” or “Is that so?” or “I see”. For some encounters, you could enter only two options. But you can never enter more than three options. That’s how we keep things simple.
